12/10/2014.Paws For The Holidays Fundraiser
The holidays are a time for giving. Don't forget to help the homeless dogs and cats at the Francis R. Willis SPCA. Westbury Veterinary Clinic and Westbury Pet Care Center are helping raise funds to support the care of these animals by selling "paws". Stop in and buy a paw to hang on our wall with your name to recognize your generosity. We are selling the paws in $1, $5, and $10 denominations but we are happy to accept any amount. You can even buy more than one paw! All proceeds will be donated to the Francis R. Willis SPCA.

8/15/2014. Westbury Veterinary Clinic Adds New Diagnostic Capabilities

Can you tell how healthy your pets' teeth are below the gums? Probably not, right? We had a hard time, too. Previously, we had to rely on experience to evaluate your pets' tooth health based on clues we could see. Not anymore! We now proudly offer dental X-Rays which give us unprecedented ability to see precisely what's going on in your pets mouth. That allows us to make the best recommendations when it comes to removing - or NOT removing - teeth during routine dental procedures and also helps us develop a dental wellness plan to keep your pet's mouth healthy.

We have also added Ultrasound to our diagnostic toolbelt. Ultrasound gives us a peek inside your pet to look at soft tissue and organs that don't show up in X-Rays. This helps us identify internal illness much more easily and with more precision. One of the fun things we use ultrasound for is pregnancy checks. Just like in human medicine, if you want to see if your pets' puppies or kittens look healthy before they're born, come see us!
